Wyatt turns 6

Wyatt and Ella helped me make the cake
The kids get to pick out what they want for breakfast and dinner. Wyatt chose Cookie Crisp, probably because I never buy Cookie Crisp. I asked if it tasted just like having cookies for breakfast and he said it did.
When Wyatt went to bed Weston and I blew up a lot of balloons and covered the floor with them so when he woke up he would be surprised. Wyatt loves balloons. No Wyatt's room isn't pink. The night before his birthday the three little ones wanted to sleep together so they stole all the beds in the girls room. Brent woke up this morning to go hunting. He left the house around 4:30- 4:45 and the little kids heard him. So they woke up. I heard a lot of giggling and talking for quite some time. When I went back to tell them to go back to sleep all three of them were snuggled in one bed laughing. Such a great time! (Love being their mom!)

I bought these fun How to Train Your Dragon figures to put on Wyatt's cake. I knew he would love them! He loves things like this!
Birthday party games......Pin the tail on the donkey.
I told Trett to take a few pictures of us while we played pin the tail on the donkey. What donkeys behind did he think I was talking about?!?
Musical chairs. The kids loved this one. Good thing I asked Wyatt for some game ideas he came up with them all. We also did a treasure hunt to find a treasure at the end!
Wyatt' cake. I wanted to do a How to Train Your Dragon cake. So the blue stuff is suppose to be water since they are vikings and then just some figurines.

Lots of fun, gifts, friends, ice cream and cake! Thank you everyone! Happy Birthday Wyatt we love you!

My SWEET Friend

A few weekends ago I stayed home with a sick child while Brent took the other little cuties to a birthday party. When they all arrived back home later that night the kids came in excited and asking me if I had made that thing by the front door. What thing? You don't know mom are you tricking us? the kids kept asking. When I stepped out front I found this little gem! A sweet friend of mine made it for me! The sign also has another saying on the back for fall. So cute! I love it!! Thanks Tricia you are the greatest!!!

My new shoes

For about a good year every time I get out of bed in the morning I can hardly stand of my feet. I hobble around the house for a while and I am in a lot of pain. We have a lot of ceramic tile and Pergo flooring. Recently I told Brent I really would love to find a pair of supportive shoes just to wear in the house. I really don't want to wear my shoes that I wear to the stores and in the parking lot in the house. O.C.D. I guess and the thought of all that stuff I stepped in while I was out running errands being drug into the house bugged me. (Yes everyone else wears shoes in the house). Knowing all to well I probably would never get around to it and knowing if I found them I would probably come up with a reason why spending that much money on myself wasn't needed and somewhere else the money needed to be spent. Brent showed up on Saturday with these cuties! He said he thought they were perfect because they were lite and they were slip on so I could easily slip them off and on in the house or if I was going to go outside. Such a sweetie! But I couldn't help but worry about how much he spent. Knowing my next question he informed me they were having a 30% off sale and he also used a 25% off coupon. Such a sweetie!

Trett rides to school

Some friends of ours ride their bikes to school with their dad. We live really far from school so riding your bike to school is out of the question. Then on my way back from dropping some of the older kids off at school I saw our friends and their dads ridding with their boys to school. Trett also hears about it from his friends and tells me wishes he could go some time. Before we knew it he was invited to come along. I drop him off at their house and he rides into town with the other kids and their dad. They also live out of town. The ride to school is about four miles. He loves it! And yes we did get him a helmet.

The Tree House

Today after school Trett came into my room where I was folding laundry. He asked me if I would go with him up in the tree house to do homework. Would I?!? I would love to!!! Things like this are what makes being a mom so great! I also got double lucky, Ashtyn was there when we got there and I got to visit with both of them.

Sunday Football

Weston had a good time dressing up the kids in his football uniform and played a little football before church. And yes they are in their pajamas. They said that Wyatt was on the ground with helmet and all pads and couldn't get up because he had on so much big gear on. Then it didn't help that he was laughing hard. Wes loved the way Ella would point with her helmet on. I guess she too has seen a lot of football. Lots of fun! It makes me happy to see them having fun together!

Soccer

This year Wyatt and Trett are in soccer. Ashtyn decided she didn't want to do it this year. I was okay with it because last year with four in sports I was exhausted! Then Ella wanted to play soccer but I told her she needed to be 5 to play. Who would have guess that Wyatt's practice was right next to field where all her little friends from primary were practicing. The girls are all her age.

Ella

Ella loves to draw. I loved this one she drew. She came and showed me her "SUN" flowers!

The other day when I went to pick up Ella from preschool the floor was full of red, orange and yellow construction paper. When I had asked her about preschool she told me that not this day or the day next day but the one after that was fall. Then she said all the leaves on the tree will turn all different colors, even pink. Then all the leaves will fall off. Because that day is fall. I tried to explain that it wouldn't happen in one day. And that unfortunately our leaves here don't turn all those pretty colors. She was just sure I was wrong and that not this day or the next day but the one after that this marvelous event was going to happen. She woke up on that day and she came into me and declared it was fall! Nothing happened like I think she thought it should. But she hasn't said much more about it.

Weston's Birthday Party

Every time I tried to take a picture these guys would do this so their team was in the picture more.

Reading his sign from his "sisters" from Thatcher
Weston had a great birthday! They played against Thatcher a big rival team. Early in the game Thatcher fumbled the ball and Weston picked it up and started running for a touchdown. He made it a ways down the field and then was tackled. Wow I thought a lineman hardly ever is given that opportunity. There was three minutes in the game and Safford was winning. Weston had invited a few friends for pizza after the game so I decided I had better go and get a few ordered early. By the time I loaded a few kiddos there was two minutes left. What could I possibly miss in two minutes? Apparently A LOT!
After I left the coach put Weston in as running-back . Coach knew it was his birthday. The quarterback gave him the ball and he ran right up the middle plowing 2 guys as he did it the second time he fumbled it and Thatcher recovered the ball! What?!? So Thatcher had the ball then they threw an interseption to Seth Lowery WHOOOOOOO YEAH!!!! They put Weston back in as running-back. The quarterback hands off the ball to Weston and he runs 30 yards(Brent said he has never seen Weston run so fast!) TOUCHDOWN!!!! Safford scores! The team drenches Weston with the big water cooler! Then Weston's friends, girls, ran out with a big shinny, glittery birthday card that they all signed and wrote very nice things on the sign. I can't believe that I missed that!
Then Weston and a few friends came and ate pizza. They had a good time! The Thatcher quarterback came along with some of the Safford players. Fun to see them as friends after a game and with different jerseys on. Later we went home and opened gifts. Happy Day!

Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired

We LOVE to catch the strep bug. Or maybe the strep bug LOVES us. We get strep soooo often. One time this summer when I went into the doctor and he told me we had strep I started to cry. I am not a crier but at that point I just lost it and the tears began to pour. Then I went on this kick of lets boost these immune systems SO much it will be rare to get strep for us. So I went into veggie, greens, vitamin over load. Yes and it is routine for me to say every time we enter into the house wash your hands, don't use the drinking fountain, cough into your arm not your hand, drink plenty of fluids (but use only the water bottle that has your name on it). I am that soccer mom with 7 water bottles at the game and no one is allowed to drink out of someone else' s bottle. I know that maybe it is over load and some say that maybe it is because I stress to much and try to keep things too controlled. No because it happens no matter what I do or don't do. So here I am at home with all five kids with strep. And how I love them but it is really no fun to have a house full of five sick, cranky, irritable kids. Right now I think they may kill each other. Yes many will say take out their tonsils but yet I have been told that does not keep you from getting it. Yes I know all about someone in our house is a carrier or someone we know is and yes we have all been treated this time. I LOATH strep.

Wiltbank Family Reunion

Catching crawdads

Air soft wars, exploring and crawdad fishing
Wyatt and Grandma Marion playing a game of war. I think Wyatt won some chocolate
Brent took the kids to a secret spot to catch crawdads. They came back with some whoppers. It sure is nice to have a dad that use to craw dad fish at this same spot when he was younger.
Ashtyn and her friend caught this snake. Her friend was even bitten twice by the snake. My boys were a bit nervous but loved getting to hold it.
Wyatt found this tiger caterpillar. It was really pretty.

We always have a good time at the Wiltbank reunion. This year we only got to go for the day. We got there in time for breakfast and stayed until late that night. The kids played hard all day. They got to hang out with cousins and Grandma and Papa and have a really good time. Trett always gets to go on a hike with Papa whenever we go camping. It is fun to see them together they look a lot alike. Becky and Jonna or should I say Joanna we had a good time visiting with you and getting to know your cute kids. Can't wait to see your pictures on your blog!:)

Bulldog Football

Football has started and Weston is loving it. He got his dad's number, 72. They played their first game in Wilcox and won.
